Retirement Analyst

Who We Are

Everything we do flows from the idea that we are in business to help provide a secure financial future for the families who depend on us. We work with our clients to help them understand their financial options and opportunities. This includes strategies to save on taxes, increase wealth, manage risk, exit their business, and leave a legacy to the next generation.

We prioritize our business decisions to benefit each individual client, and we always try to do the right thing for their individual situation. Operating through that lens helps us make the best decisions, and as a result, we have a higher probability of our own success as well.

To that end, we are looking for an Associate Advisor to join our team who can provide an excellent level of support for our clients while expanding the community of individuals who trust us to build confidence in their retirement.

Culture

As a part of the WealthCare team, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment that is supportive, gracious, always willing to help, and gets the job done right. We enjoy a morning huddle each day to align our goals, hear from each other about life and work, and encourage one another.

We know the importance of work-life balance and want to ensure that all members of our team know that we care about them as a person, want to support them in all aspects of their life, and strive to help them better themselves at work and at home.

The Role

Looking to expand your future as part of a successful financial team? Our Springfield, MO, location is looking for one additional associate advisor who will have responsibilities in three areas: assist senior advisor in plan design, meet with clients to implement plans, and assist back office in implementation. If you are a driven, bright person who wants to give care to clients and eventually wants to manage their own book of business, this could be the opportunity for you.

The ideal candidate may not yet have any financial industry experience but is probably interested in the industry and a quick learner. He or she will be sharp with software, good at building relationships, and able to understand abstract financial concepts, and — once trained — able to explain them to others in a way they can understand, too. You’ve got to be committed to serving clients first and foremost.

We’re okay with training the right person by having them work alongside an experienced advisor and back-office team to learn the ropes of our industry and slowly migrating clients to them. You’ll meet alongside an advisor to interview prospective clients, understand their situation, design plans and run the software that facilitates those plans, make phone calls, set appointments, complete paperwork, follow up on transfers and applications, and participate in public seminars, including introducing your mentor advisor.

Key Traits Are:

  • Initiative
  • Positive attitude
  • Persistent
  • Persuasive
  • Not afraid of hard work
  • Reliable
  • Entrepreneurial

While a college degree is a helpful indicator, it’s not required. And though some industry experience, including a life and health license and passing the Series 65 securities exam, would help, we’re okay training the right person.

Here’s what you have to bring to the table: well-organized, math and analytical skills, excellent communicator verbally and in writing, good with computers and software, and people have to matter first!

Our atmosphere is wholesome and family-oriented. We’re not woke. At the end of the day, we go home to our families and enjoy what God has given to us.

Visit the website for WealthCare Corporation (www.wealthcarecorp.com) to learn about our company and decide if you want to apply. To do so, you need a resume and letter of application explaining why you think this job is a fit for you. (No letter? Then your name goes in the trash can.)

Compensation and benefits: We think you’ll like what you see. Base salary plus commission and opportunity to grow your income.
